Counselling is a confidential space where you can talk through what's troubling you with a trained professional. It can help with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, or simply feeling stuck. Many people find that having a space to be heard, without judgement, brings real clarity and relief.

There's no single sign that means you "need" counselling. If you're feeling overwhelmed, low, anxious, or just not yourself, and it's affecting your daily life or relationships, it may help to talk to someone. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from support.

The first session is mostly about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what's brought you to counselling, what you're hoping to get from it, and any questions you have about how the process works. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.

This varies from person to person. Some people find a handful of sessions enough, while others prefer ongoing, longer term support. We'll review progress together regularly so you always have a say in the pace and length of your counselling.
